Union at Clintwood

Thoughts?

Loser is done in terms of winning the LPD in my opinion. It's one of those games where I feel like Union has everything to lose and nothing to gain while Clintwood has everything to gain and nothing to lose. This is an average Clintwood team that Union must beat if they hope to get to where they want to be. Turnovers make the difference, I'm picking the ball control Bears to hold onto the ball.

Union by 40 Clintwood takes another beat down. Bring on the Raiders, Warriors, so we can beatch slap them, and give us that LPD Crown.

This game IMO comes down to depth. Clintwood seems to be a little beaten up at the moment but not as bad as earlier this season, and Union is conditioned better than Ive seen from any team I have seen this season. Clintwood will probably be good conditioning wise but depth wise will be the difference. IMHO this will come down to the 4 quarter and like all the other games Union's conditioning will take over as well as there depth and the bears win a tight one late in the 4th quarter. Also look for a low scoring game seeing that both teams play a ball controll offense and a power stopping Deffense.

Depth is an issue no doubt about it.....BTW who will be takeing over for #3 (TE/WR that dislocated an elbow near the end of the VHS game)

Bowman kid i think is his name 88 or 87 is his number. He's 6'3" or bigger and 240ish. Not as athletic as far as catching under pressure but he's just as strong and fast

I didn't know Zac Barker got hurt? Yeah, he and Bowman were already sharing the position. I guess Bowman will just man it by himself for a while.

Hmm so no 2 TE sets then? I was wondering what there plans were with that (Seemed to me that after the injury Union could not get any yards on the ground and had to throw one up in the air in OT to get the Win over VHS)

Union is a decent overall team but I wasn't impressed with their defense or their "balanced offense". They run the ball very well but their passing game really lost the game for them tonight. Good job Clintwood you finally showed some heart on the field tonight.
